  • ok so i've seen several episodes of this show...and boy did it let me down.  i'm big and beautiful and proud of it.  i would have expected the girls casted for this show to be more self confident.  but all the crying and self pity, it don't make no sense.  I love myself for who i am, and i am a big beautiful woman.  i would have tried out if i wasn't married.  lol

  • I agree with wldangel28 and dimples.  I was very excited when I happened to scan across the show premier, UNTIL all the waterworks and low self esteem.  I admit I have been heavy my whole life and I had issues like all of them, BUT I finally realized what really was important in life.  Being from a small town, I can understand not having a wide scope of men for dating.  It didn't stop me!  Laughing  The world has come a long way in the respect of BBWs and I'm proud to be one.

Now I will step off my soapbox.  Wink

  • I was very excited about the show and thought the ladies looked beautiful.  Then . . . . all the crying and feeling bad about weight.  It was a huge turn off to me.  Really, if you are in your 20's and you feel bad about your weight.  Then, shut up and do something about it!!  I am a proud plus-size woman and was looking forward to a show that brought that same kind of attitude.  I will give it another try, but if these women continue to cry over their size, then I probably won't tune in.  I don't need a show to make me feel bad.
